Rubaba

My volunteering experience at AIDE was one of transformative periods of my life. During these 8 months in Romania, I had the chance to work with high school students, children from rural schools, people with special needs, and the local community through non-formal education, intercultural activities, and youth events.

This project helped me grow. I improved my communication, teamwork, public speaking, leadership, and digital skills while learning more about youth work and community engagement. 

Through this experience, I became more independent, self-aware, adaptable, and confident in expressing myself and my ideas. 

I also had the opportunity to co-write an Erasmus+ project and take my first steps in content creation and social media work. 

Additionally, thanks to this project, I had the opportunity to travel to 6 different countries, discover new cultures, and broaden my perspective about the world and people from different backgrounds.

This project gave me unforgettable memories, valuable life lessons, and people who will always have a special place in my heart.

About me

My name is Rubaba. I am 23 years old and from Azerbaijan.I love listening to people and discovering the unique universes within them. Reading books, observing the world, and learning are the things that keep me alive and shape who I am.I’m excited to be a part of AIDE and look forward to gaining valuable experiences and insights from this journey.
