This volunteering experience in Romania brought me a lot. Stepping out of your comfort zone is never easy, but once you do it, you realize how much it helps you grow. During this experience, I learned a lot, both about others and about myself. I discovered new ways of seeing things, new cultures, and above all the importance of sharing and helping one another.
I tried to give to others what life had already taught me, while at the same time learning so much from them in return. It was a very meaningful human experience that left a strong impression on me and will surely continue to influence me in the future.
About me: My name is Carolyn and I'm 22. I live in Switzerland but I'm half Swiss and half Romanian. My dream job is to become an ambulance driver. I love sport, music and hiking. I'm very happy to be here and to share this experience with you.
