I had the chance to volunteer with Aide in Romania, and it was truly a life-changing experience. It was a journey full of emotions, challenges, and growth.
Through my work, I learned a lot about social work – but even more about myself. I gained new skills, discovered future opportunities for study and research, and built valuable work competences.
It wasn’t always easy, but it was incredibly rewarding. I’m grateful for everything this experience has given me and the people who made it so special.
About me:
Hi, I’m Sara, a 24-year-old traveler from Slovenia! 🌍✈️ I spend most of my time exploring the world, and this time, my journey has brought me to beautiful Romania. 🇷🇴💛
Art has been my passion since high school, and I’ve been lucky to deepen my knowledge through amazing experiences—living in Portugal for a year to study art education and volunteering on an artistic project in Italy last September. 🎨✨ I love stepping out of my comfort zone, which is why I joined this volunteering opportunity! I hope to share creative ideas, grow personally and professionally, and connect with new cultures. Excited for this adventure—new places, new people, and endless inspiration!
