My experience in this volunteering program has been transformative and has given me many things: friends, kindness and knowledge. I've discovered a vibrant and active community, a youth full of life and dreams in Valcea's High Schools and clubs. And nurturing and welcoming elderly company on the streets and small villages. I take with me the love for flowers and the resilience of this beautiful country.

About me:

I'm Elena, I'm 24 and I come from the Canary Islands, Spain.

Some of my hobbies are reading and belly dancing. 

I'm an art restorer and I just finished a restoration project on a masonic temple back home.

I chose AIDE for my volunteering because I have seen some projects done by them and I'm very interested in their work and I want to help however I can.
