I’m Mansur, 24 years old, an electrical and electronics engineer.
All kinds of electronic devices and machines attract my attention. In my spare time, I love reading books, playing football, climbing mountains, and playing chess.
We carry out all kinds of personal development activities together with children between the ages of 8 and 15 in Romania, where I have been for 3 months under the name of the “From rural to nonformal” project. We are having a great time with them.
It will be very difficult for me to leave them in the remaining 7 months because I love them all.
Immediately after graduating from university, I applied for this project in Romania. I was overjoyed when my application was accepted. This was my first time abroad. I arrived in this new country with great excitement and a warm welcome, and then I began my project. This project is filled with indescribably valuable experiences. It aims to explore children’s potential by offering them different learning opportunities. The connections I’ve built with the children throughout this journey have inspired me every day. The curiosity in their eyes, their open hearts to new knowledge, and their passion for learning formed the foundation of the project. Through games, workshops, nature walks, and art activities, the children both had fun and learned. They experienced the joy of building knowledge through their own experiences. As part of this project, they learned to collaborate, solve problems, and support each other. This project will remain a wonderful memory I will never forget. I’m eternally grateful to Adelina for helping me experience these experiences. I’m also grateful to my coordinators and Adelina’s entire family. I now have a family in Romania.
